The Inclusive Education Program provides students with special education services within the general education classroom. Students learn alongside their peers while receiving accommodations, modifications, specialized instruction, and support from special education staff. Through co-teaching, consultation, and collaborative instructional practices, students have access to grade-level curriculum in the least restrictive environment.
This model promotes:
- Access to rigorous, standards-based instruction.
- Meaningful participation in the general education setting.
- Increased peer interaction and social development.
- Academic support while maintaining high expectations.
- Development of independence and self-confidence.
