Principal’s Message

Welcome to Benjamin Franklin School!

Dear Franklin Families, Students, Staff, and Community Members,

It is a profound honor to welcome you to Benjamin Franklin School. As your principal, I am incredibly proud to lead a school community deeply committed to excellence, equity, and the success of every student.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our Core Commitments

To give you a glimpse of what makes the Franklin experience so special, our work is grounded in three core commitments:

Rigorous and Accessible Learning

Our dedicated educators deliver high-quality, grade-level instruction with multiple entry points that support all learners. We foster academic growth through productive struggle, empowering students to persevere, think critically, and achieve at high levels.

Belonging and Identity

We honor and celebrate the unique identities, strengths, and lived experiences of our students. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment where every child feels valued, respected, and experiences a true sense of belonging.

Real-World Connections

By connecting learning to the world around us, we help students develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills while empowering them to become informed, engaged, and compassionate contributors to their communities.

Partnering for Success

We know that student success is strengthened through meaningful partnerships among families, school staff, and the community. We encourage you to stay connected, participate in school events, and engage as active partners in your child’s educational journey. Together, we create the conditions that allow every student to realize their full potential.

Thank you for visiting our website. We invite you to explore the many programs, opportunities, and resources available at Benjamin Franklin School.

We look forward to an incredible school year together.

With gratitude and commitment,

Fleming, Angela
