We are motivated by having a positive, well run, safe and productive environment for our students. That means promoting the learning of the principles of our PBIS- (Positive Behavior Incentives and Supports).
“Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible” is a district wide initiative that we take to heart at Walt Whitman and promote during all functions of the day.
Students can look around this section and find lots of resources for doing research, help with homework, sending an email to your teacher, using the internet safely, preparing for the next school year, or just checking out what other students are doing at our school.
Get involved. Volunteer your time and interests to making Whitman a more fun and energized place to learn. Do your part to make every day an adventure. Work hard on completing your goals and aim high. Remember, the fun you have may be your own.
