Includes: event t-shirt, race bag of goodies, snacks after the run/walk, DJ entertainment,
carnival games and a great opportunity for school community team building!

Dear GOLDA MEIR Families and Staff:
As we look ahead to the 2025-2026 school year, we are inviting you to join the GOLDA MEIR team in one of our favorite traditions, the annual MPS Run Back to School.
This 5K Fun Run/1.5 Mile Walk on Saturday, August 23 serves to fund MPS youth recreation and wellness programs across the district. With a minimum of 25 participants on our team by July 31ST, we will be able to walk/run in our very own team t-shirt color. In addition, we will be eligible for a $500 grant to go towards a recreation and/or wellness need at GOLDA! Better yet, let’s set our sights high and aim for Golda to have the most registered participants, making our school eligible for a $1,000 grant towards recreation/wellness programs.
How to Register:
Online registration for the event is now open and runs until August 20, with walk up registration the day of the event. There are three ways to register for the challenge:

Register online by visiting mkerec.net/RBTS

When asked the question, “If participating with a school group, please list the school”, enter our school’s name.

Register by mail or in office by sending/bringing a registration form to: MPS Run Back to School, 5225 W. Vliet Street, Room 163, Milwaukee, WI 53208 (registration form can be found on mkerec.net/RBTS) until August. 15 at 4:30 p.m.
Registration Fee: Students (ages 18 & under) $5.00 and Adults (ages 19+) $15.00 pre-registration and $20.00 after July 31.
