Dear Golda Meir Families,

As we look ahead to the 2026-2027 school year, we invite you to join Golda Meir Team for one of Milwaukee Public Schools’ favorite traditions—the annual MPS Run Back to School!

This fun 5K Run/1.5-Mile Walk will take place on Saturday, August 22 and raises funds for MPS youth recreation and wellness programs across the district.

Our goal is to have at least 25 participants registered by July 31. If we reach that milestone, Team Golda Meir will receive our own team-colored shirts and earn a $500 recreation and wellness grant for our school. Even better, the school with the most registered participants will receive a $1,000 grant. We’d love to see Golda Meir at the top!

• Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026
• Registration: 7:30–8:30 a.m.
• Race/Walk Begins: 9:00 a.m.
• Location: MPS Central Services Building, 5225 W. Vliet Street, Milwaukee

When prompted with “If participating with a school group, please list the school,” be sure to enter Golda Meir School so your registration counts toward our team.

You may also register by mail or in person using the registration form available on the website through August 14 at 4:30 p.m.

Registration Fees

• Students (18 & under): $5
• Adults (19+): $15 through July 31, then $20 afterward
