Schoolwide Enrichment Model Framework:
Golda Meir School utilizes the SEM: Schoolwide Enrichment Model created by Joseph Renzulli and Sally Reis. The primary goal of this framework is to provide enrichment opportunities and high learning standards for all students in order to achieve three outcomes:
- Talent Development: Cultivating the unique potential within every child.
- Broad-Based Enrichment: Providing a broad range of advanced-level enrichment experiences for all students, and
- Targeted Advancement: Offering advanced follow-up opportunities for students based on their strengths and interests.

Golda Meir School services five areas of giftedness in grades 3-12. These areas include:
- General Intellect- Exceptional capacity for higher-level thinking, including reasoning, planning, and complex problem-solving.
- Subject Specific Intellect- The ability to perform at an exceptionally high level in a given subject area.
- Leadership- A developed aptitude for guiding individuals or groups to a common decision or action.
- Creative Thinking- The strong ability to think innovatively and to articulate original and valuable ideas.

- Artistic Ability- The high performance capabilities in academic artistic areas such as drawing, painting, and sculpting.
Acceleration Options:
For qualifying students in grades 3-8, Golda Meir School offers subject-specific acceleration options, primarily in Mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA). Please note that our school does not offer full grade-level skipping

High School Programming-AP and Dual Enrollment:
In alignment with the SEM framework, Golda Meir School provides rigorous college-preparatory pathways through the Pre-Advanced Placement (PreAP) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs
Pre-AP and Advanced Placement (AP)
- Pre-AP: All students in grades 9 and 10 participate in Pre-AP Math and English courses. This curriculum ensures equitable access to high-quality education, laying the foundation for success in future AP courses, college, and career paths.
- Advanced Placement: Beginning in 9th grade, students may enroll in AP courses to pursue college-level studies. Following the AP exams in May, students earning a score of 3 or higher may be eligible for college credit.
Golda Meir School currently offers seventeen (17) different Advanced Placement courses.

Dual Enrollment
Beyond our Advanced Placement Program, Golda Meir School offers Dual Enrollment opportunities, both on and off-campus. Eligible students may enroll in college courses through local colleges and universities, earning college credit upon successful completion.
