Student Job Fair for Seniors

9:15 am – 2:15 pm

MPS high school seniors are invited to the MPS Student Job Fair! Employers will be on site to talk about careers plus full-time and part-time jobs. Breakfast is provided.

Cost

Free!

Bus transportation is available to the UWM Student Union and back to school.
Ask your counselor or College and Career Center advisor for a permission slip.

In addition to searching for immediate jobs, students have the chance to explore new fields that may lead to lifelong careers including automotive, construction, health care, law enforcement, manufacturing, and more.

Standards of Conduct and Professionalism for MPS Job Fair Attendees

  • Look your best! Look professional and dress like a student who is excited about getting a job.
  • Follow the MPS policy for cell phone usage.
  • Be a team player. Every student shares a common goal and purpose, which is to leave the fair with important knowledge and information about local jobs. We all want a successful event.
  • Remember: All eyes are on you. Be positive! And if you don’t feel positive, fake it! You are representing your school and the district — make us MPS Proud!
  • Respect others including staff, speakers, and representatives from the employers throughout the fair.
  • There will be zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior, substance abuse, fighting, theft, or vandalism.
  • Follow PBIS protocol at all times — be safe, be respectful, be responsible.
