2024 Run Back to School
w/ my niece!

Dear Families,

Welcome to Riverwest Elementary!  My name is Meghan Dunlap and I am thrilled to be the new school leader here. The dedicated Riverwest staff and I are looking forward to an incredible year full of rigorous learning and development. We are proud to serve a diverse body of learners and strive to use the best research-based instructional strategies to increase student achievement in all academic areas.

At Riverwest, we aspire to reach the whole child by supporting a community focused on academic, character, and social/emotional growth and wellbeing for all. This can be accomplished by working as a collaborative team advocating for all through listening to the needs of the students, staff, parents, and community, as well as communicating and encouraging a professional learning community built on respect, trust, cooperation, and collaboration.

At Riverwest, we believe in open and respectful communication between home and school. We value your input and hope that you will be an active participant in your child’s education. Please reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule a conference to address any concerns.

Riverwest Elementary is committed to providing your family with an excellent school experience. We have an outstanding staff ready to be a wonderful resource within our community and we appreciate the opportunity to work with your child on their path to greatness.

Sincerely,

Meghan Dunlap
