Extracurricular activities provide an important balance to the academics taught at Cass St. School during the regular school day. Participation in extracurricular programs affords students with both leadership and team skills. Sports teams provide a physical outlet and also allow students to hone athletic skills such as coordination, balance and focus. Students also practice good sportsmanship.
Each extracurricular activity is unique in that it places students in groups or teams where they must make both independent and collaborative decisions. Students may also build on interests and natural curiosities for subjects outside of traditional classroom work. Pursuit of outside interests develops self-confidence and expands student understanding to a broader range. Cass St. extracurricular activities currently offered are:
- Basketball
- Volleyball
- Soccer
- Track
- Football
- Cheerleading
- Student Council
- Esports
