What inspires you to teach/lead? I love being able to help others achieve their goals and be more successful. Everyone has greatness within them, and I feel so honored every time I’m a part of uncovering it! Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families is the best part of being a school psychologist; I cannot wait to meet all the incredible families in the Townsend community!
Did you always want to be a teacher or work with students when you grew up? Growing up, I had always wanted to be a teacher! I was so inspired by many of my teachers and knew I wanted to help others. I came across school psychology when I was going to school at UW-La Crosse and loved the idea of being able to work with all students, staff, and families in a school, which led me to where I am today!
What is your message to all students? You are capable and you can do hard things. It can be so hard to persist through challenging situations, but you can do it and I would love to help along the way!

Fun Fact About Me: My favorite animal is a sea otter (aside from my two dogs at home!)
