The mission of the School Engagement Council (SEC) is to support Humboldt Park K-8 School’s objective of providing the best possible education for our students. As representatives of the Humboldt Park SEC that consists of parents, staff, community members and students. We will work together to:
- Review and assess Humboldt Park’s School Improvement Plan and budget to make decisions in the best interest of the parties we represent;
- Address all concerns on a timely basis;
- Achieve efficiency and flexibility in the use of our resources;
- Encourage communication, cooperation, active participation and an enthusiastic spirit for learning in the Humboldt Park Community;
- Develop goals that look to future needs;
- Support the work of school learning and action teams.
This meeting is held virtually on the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone is welcome to join, listen, and provide feedback. Please let Ms. Moua know if you would like to attend!
