Our School-Wide Vision

Bruce Elementary Blue Jays logoBruce Elementary School is dedicated to producing scholars that will demonstrate advanced academic skills in all content areas and demonstrate stellar character traits and are prepared to contribute to both their local and global communities. We will provide scholars with ambitious instruction daily, in a nurturing and caring environment. We look to collaborate and communicate to ensure the needs and desirable outcomes are most favorable for all scholars.

Our School-Wide Theory of Action

If we implement the Comprehensive Literacy Plan, and Depth of Knowledge Question Stems, and academic vocabulary strategies, and student discourse, then our African American female students will exhibit an increase in their reading proficiency from 20% to 30% on target as evidence by STAR.

We value all stakeholders and welcome their input as our school continues to build a school that focuses on building strong relationship with scholars and families, creating a respectful and nurturing school environment for all.
