About

alcott

At Alcott, we stand behind our mission, ensuring that all students receive the individual attention and instruction they need to receive a quality education. We stress the importance of technology in the classroom that students are better prepared for a world that is becoming more globally connected and more competitive. By building powerful communications skills in all students, children are able to better connect with the world around them through technological, oral and written skills.

By striving to include all students and embrace differences, children at Alcott are able to strengthen their confidence and recognize their individual skills and talents. The certified teachers and staff employ outstanding academic strategies to achieve the Alcott mission. Staff members work hard to encourage students to use these skills and talents to their advantage, welcoming learning differences and promoting academic success. We realize that all students learn differently and for this reason, staff members take different approaches to teaching a wide variety of lessons, making for well-rounded students.

Parents at Alcott work extra hard to bring families together to build a strong support network for students. By bringing families, staff members and the community together to celebrate student success, children receive the resources and encouragement they need to develop a positive attitude toward learning. Knowing that others believe in their ability to succeed gives students the confidence to believe in themselves, making for motivated learners.

The mission of Alcott Elementary School is to instill lifelong learning through a positive and well-structured multicultural learning environment in which all students attain a quality education. This will be achieved through the development of strong academic programs, the enhancement of technological skills and involvement in extracurricular activities.
