“DMMAC brings together parents, teachers, administrators, school staff, board members, and community members. Committee members respect and value the richness that our culturally and linguistically diverse students bring. Additionally, committee members see the learning of multiple languages and cultures as an asset all students should possess. The purpose of the council is to advise, advocate, and build the capacity of multilingual/ multicultural programming in MPS. The goal is to have parent representation from every school to ensure that every parent and school has an opportunity to collaborate.”
