There are several ways that parents and families will receive information from Neeskara School about issues, events, activities and information that parents will need to know throughout the school year.
Neeskara School Newsletter: All parents and families will receive the Eagle Newsletter every month in the Wednesday Folder. The Eagle is a short one-page newsletter of current information and events and will keep families and parents up-to-date on what’s going on at Neeskara.
Wednesday Folders: Every child will be bringing home a Wednesday Folder on Wednesday’s. All communication from the school will be in the Wednesday Folder. Parents are asked to please look for the Wednesday Folder every week in your child’s backpacks, take out all of the information, and return any necessary information. The Wednesday Folder must be returned to school on Thursday’s.
Messenger Robo Call: Throughout the year, parents and families will receive voicemail messages on their home phones or cell phones with voicemail capability, from Neeskara School with reminders about events, activities, due dates and more! MPS will also be sending messages on the Messenger Robo Call voicemail message system. To ensure that every family receives these messages, parents are encouraged to make sure the school has all current telephone numbers.
Parents will be sent an Messenger Robo Call information form at the beginning of the year and asked to provide current telephone numbers including cell numbers for text information and current email addresses. In this way, MPS and Neeskara School will be able to contact parents with urgent or important messages in a variety of ways: voice mail, email and text mail.
Social Media & ClassDojo: Neeskara is on Facebook! Please be sure to LIKE our official page to stay tuned for updates, information on events, and more! Join ClassDojo to receive real-time updates on your child’s behavior and academics.
Neeskara School Sign: The school sign on Hawley Road has messages throughout the year, announcing school events and activities, as well as reminders about school registration, and more. Check it out as you walk or drive by on Hawley Road!
Classroom Newsletters: Many classroom teachers provide parents and families with a weekly classroom newsletter. Teachers will communicate with parents at the beginning of the year about the specifics of their classroom newsletters.
