Principal’s Message

Dear Manitoba School Families,

I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Manitoba K-8 School and to warmly welcome you all to the 2025-2026 school year. It’s an honor to be a part of this community, and I am excited to partner with each of you as we begin this new chapter together.

Our guiding mission is to be a diverse and inclusive community dedicated to preparing students for higher education, career success, and active citizenship. This mission will be our north star, and I am committed to making sure it’s a living, breathing part of our school. We will continue to build on the strong foundation that already exists, and this work starts with all of us working together. To help every student reach their full potential, our focus will be on three key areas:

  • Standard-based lesson planning & teaching: We’ll be creating clear, intentional lesson plans to support student learning.
  • Growing student achievement: We’ll use data to track progress and make sure every student gets the support they need to succeed.
  • Strengthening behavioral strategies and interventions: We’ll build a positive and supportive environment where all students can thrive.

Our talented staff will be working hard, preparing engaging and challenging learning opportunities throughout the 2025-2026 school year. We’re committed to adapting our practices to ensure every student exceeds their expectations.

I believe that the best outcomes happen when we lean into collaboration, foster open communication, and hold each other to high standards with mutual respect. Your partnership is crucial to our success, and I am here to listen, and support you. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at 414-902-8600 with any questions or feedback. I am looking forward to a year of growth, collaboration, and meaningful learning. Let’s make this a year of excellence for our students!

Sincerely,

Chris Garza
