The vision of Gwen T. Jackson School is to educate and empower everyone we encounter with excellence. This will be done by creating a successful urban elementary school that produces major gains in student achievement by providing the necessary skills for students to become thinking, productive, and responsible citizens.
Students will be well prepared for the academic challenges of middle school. Our school community is an inclusive community in which students from different cultural, ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds, and learning styles will learn, live, and work harmoniously with mutual respect, without compromising their beliefs of identities. Each student will develop strong character modeled by caring adults and reflecting those values cherished by the Gwen T. Jackson School community.
