MPS is planning to make investments in Gwen T. Jackson School for the upcoming 2026-27 school year! The district outlined some initial plans at a school board meeting in January. Possible investments include:
- Updating the playground
- New classroom, cafeteria and library furniture
- Updating restrooms
- Signage, lighting and facade (building exterior) updates
You’re invited to a meeting 5:30-7 p.m. on Monday, January 26 here at the school to hear the initial investment plans from the MPS facilities team – and give your feedback to help shape the final plans. Free child care services will be available.
