MPS Graduation Requirements
Overall minimum of 22 credits to graduate
Students are required to take and pass the following classes:
- 4.0 units: English/Language Arts
- 3.0 units: Mathematics (courses at or above the Algebra level)
- 3.0 units: Science
- 3.0 units: Social Studies as follows: US History, World History, World Geography or World Studies, citizenship or 0.5 American government AND 0.5 Economics
- 1.5 units: Physical Education over a 3 year period
- 0.5 unit: Health
- 1.0 unit: Fine Arts (Art, Music, Dance or Theater)
- 2.0 units: World Languages
- 3.0 units: Electives
Students are also required to complete .5 units each semester of Academic Career Planning (ACP)
