We asked our students why they think other students should come to Elm and they responded…
- We have awesome specials (no other schools have dance)
- We can learn to play instruments like the violin
- Students here are nice / no bullies
- Teachers listen to you and help you solve your problems
- We get to do fun things (PBIS rewards, no tardy parties, carnivals)
- We get to learn by playing games
- We get to do projects
- Lots of rewards (behavior and compliments)
We asked an Elm teacher why they think students should come to Elm and they responded…
“I like how we have gotten more support with the arts program from the district. The fact that we have so many specials now is amazing. Students are now getting more movement and hands on learning throughout the day. I would agree with the students when they said the staff and students are friendly. The staff is very supportive and the students are eager to please (if you stop and listen to them, they will listen).”
