Vision of Elm Creative Arts

We envision that by 2023, through an arts-integrated environment, ALL students will become proficient in reading, writing and math, while attaining academic and social excellence!

“We integrate fine arts into the curriculum so that students receive opportunities to interpret the world in a variety of ways and learn more about themselves, while simultanously addressing multiple learning styles and affording students the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge gained through non-tradition curriculum.”

Our Values

Relationships

We will approach ALL people with a nonjudgmental attitude as a caring listener to foster respect, compassion and kindness.

Communication

We will connect with one another by respectfully and actively listening and being open to suggestions that improve the academic environment.

Radical Transparency

Anyone can give feedback to anyone on anything. We go straight to the source and deliver feedback with the intention of improving performance and increasing outcomes.

Lead by Example

At all times, we are a model of excellence for our students, families and colleagues.

Partnerships/Teamwork

We will commit to building a strong and trusting team through celebration, collaboration, and consistent support of each other. Positive Energy is key!

Find a Way

When a problem arises, we commit to being bigger than our feelings and work to find solutions immediately.

Mission First

We make all decision in the best interest of our students.

Consistency

As a universal guideline, we hold high expectations for all students throughout the building each day.
