Teaching: Since 2002. I have taught public school music in Wisconsin since January 2014.
Degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Music from Northeast Missouri State University (now known as Truman State University), Kirksville, Missouri; Master of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri; Master of Arts in Teaching from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Licenses/Certifications: Previously Certified in Adult Education and Literacy (in Missouri); Currently certified in General, Instrumental and Vocal Music (in Wisconsin) Pre-K through 12th grades.
Fun Fact: I love to ride my bike on trails in Wisconsin and try to ride as many miles as I can and this year my goal is to ride 1000 miles by October 31st. I have two dogs (Mr. Kennedy and Lincoln) and two cats (Baily and Luna). My favorite musical instrument is the piano and have studied and played piano since the summer after I was in first grade. I also speak Spanish. I am so excited to be a new part of the Cooper school community.
