About the Cooper School PTA

The Cooper School PTA is a collaborative partnership between families, teachers, and staff dedicated to enriching the educational experience of every student. We believe that a strong school community—built on communication, involvement, and inclusivity—creates the foundation for student success.

Our mission is to support our school through programs and events that celebrate our diverse community, strengthen connections between home and school, and provide resources that enhance learning both inside and outside the classroom.

Through volunteerism, fundraising, and advocacy, we aim to:

  • Foster an engaging, welcoming environment for all families.
  • Support teachers and staff through classroom initiatives and appreciation efforts.
  • Provide meaningful enrichment activities that promote creativity, culture, and academic growth.
  • Encourage student leadership, kindness, and community spirit.

Together, we’re building a stronger Cooper—one event, one volunteer, and one student at a time.

Cooper School PTA Meets on the First Tuesday of Every Month in Room 24. All parents, teachers, and staff are invited to join us at our monthly PTA meetings. *NEW* due to popular demand, meetings will also be broadcast via GOOGLE MEET. Sign up for our newsletter to get our meeting links. The intent of these meetings is to make sure parents know what the PTA is doing to help our school. If you would like to help make decisions about budgets and events, please speak to us about joining a committee.

WHY COME TO A PTA MEETING? -> Connect with other parents, teachers, and the principal & staff -> Be the first to hear about important news and upcoming events at school -> Opportunity to provide input on the activities and programs the PTA supports -> Work together to come up with solutions for school improvement -> Learn how the students and teachers of Cooper benefit from the work of the PTA -> Volunteer your time, at school or at home, to make a difference in our school community -> Students benefit when families, communities, and school staff are partners
