Before- and After-School Care
We are both experienced teachers and recreation staff who are dedicated to the CLC program and students of Fifty-Third St. School. We practice constant communication and are very committed to providing your child with the best possible after-school experience.
Program Fees
CLC does charge a one time $10.00 registration fee, per child, for every child participant. This fee helps to offset the cost of special program supplies and staff for our activities.
Families who qualify for W-2 childcare reimbursement will not have to pay the CLC fee. Those families who are interested in applying for this benefit are encouraged to speak with the Director for more information.
The W-2 application is a necessary part of the CLC application process. If you do not qualify for this benefit, you are responsible for this fee.
Hours of Operation
CLC is available to all registered participants. We have 150 open available spots every year. When all spots are full a waiting list will include all interested students. CLC is open following the MPS regular school day schedule. We are closed on all Banking Day and Non-Student Attendance Days.
Generally CLC will operate as follows:
- Monday-Friday 6:30-7:15 a.m. early morning service fee $15.00 per week.
- Monday-Friday 2:15-4:00 p.m. There is no fee.
- Monday-Friday 4:00-6:00 p.m. extended care service fee $15.00 per week.
All participants must be picked up, or eligible to walk home, by 6:00 p.m. If a child is routinely picked up late, termination from the CLC program may follow.
