We are located on the corner of 35th and Florist the heart of Thurston’s lovely community. Thurston Woods is a uniform school that serves students in grades K3-8. Proudly, our school has a committed staff that works tirelessly to ensure students receive a quality education that requires them to think critically, create, explain their thinking and problem solve. We offer the use of technology programs that will extend the learning experience. As you can see, Thurston Woods educators wholeheartedly believe that every child will succeed when entering our school environment.
TWC has several partnerships that work in collaboration with the school to support the development of school activities and learning opportunities that will help our students reach their highest potential. Our partners are MilliporeSigma, Silver Spring Neighborhood Center (CLC), and Johnson Controls. Thurston Woods staff greatly appreciates and values our partners’ commitment to student achievement. There is an even greater partner that cannot be forgotten, and that is the partnership of our parents to the school. Our parents play a vital role by participating in school activities and sharing their time and ideas for the betterment of Thurston Woods Campus.
