Principal’s Message

Thomas BrunoWelcome to US Grant, proud home of the Generals. Whether you are a parent of a K4 student or a middle school student we are very proud of our school, our traditions and our accomplishments. At Grant we expect success. At Grant we do our best to create an environment that builds success one step at a time. We create the environment that challenges our students to be successful. Our staff puts forth the effort each day to ensure that success happens. We guide our curriculum and instruction toward benchmarks at each grade level that will have your child high school ready and beyond.

We believe that all students can and must learn. As a school, we are committed to excellence for all our students. We know that we will not be truly excellent until we can ensure that proficiency is the standard for all our students. We are proud of increasing our FORWARD and STAR scores last year. We can proudly report progress in closing the achievement gaps in both reading and math. In fact, last year Grant ranked third highest of all the schools in the entire district for closing achievement gaps for both reading and math on the Measures of Academic Progress.

Grant is the place for your child to receive a quality education. We will continue to provide rigorous instruction. We have outstanding staff who is dedicated to providing a first-class 21st century education to your child. We will continue to maintain a safe and respectful school environment.

We look forward to meeting and working with all of our Grant families.  We encourage you to be actively involved in your student’s education. Together as a team, school and home, we will continue to achieve excellence! Wishing you an outstanding school year! Please call us if we can assist with your child’s success at US Grant School.
