January Awards Program

Last Friday we had our January Awards program! Here’s what was won!

 

Attendance Awards

Kindergarten: Room 114

Grades 1-2: Room 130

Grades 3-5: Room 138

 

AMP Class Awards

Art: Room 114

Music: Room 132

Gym: Room 136

There were also students chosen to be the AMP helpers for their classes as well!

 

Students with perfect attendance in January were celebrated! Nice job, everyone! 

 

Congratulations to our students who are Student of the Month for January 2023. Here’s what their teachers had to say about them! 

Room 110

-Liam: Liam has made tremendous progress since he first started at Goodrich. He has been consistently displaying Rock Star Bulldog behavior and his academic success in all subject areas is soaring! All the teachers in room 110 couldn’t be more proud of him! Keep up the awesome work,Liam!

-Aaliyah: Aaliyah is Room 110’s Attendance Super Star- She has only missed 1 school day this

entire year! Aaliyah has made so many academic gains in Kindergarten because she is here daily ready to learn. She is doing a wonderful job academically and she is proficient in Reading and Math. Keep up the amazing work, Aaliyah!

Room 112

-Ambrose:  Ambrose is kind and sweet. He comes to school every day ready to learn. He works hard every day! We are very proud of Ambrose!

-Malekha: Malekha is kind and sweet. She comes to school ready to learn every day. She is a great friend. She works very hard. We are very proud of Malekha!

Room 114

-Aliyah: Aliyah has a positive attitude towards learning and completes her homework. She enjoys participating in class. Aliyah does a fantastic job academically and is a role model in our classroom.

-Easton: Easton does an amazing job academically, takes great pride in his work, and participates in class. He completes his homework and is a pleasure to have in class.

Room 126

-Kylen: Kylen is a friend to all and makes sure that he is making good choices. He is honest and makes sure that he is showing and doing his best. He happily helps all in need and takes care to show love. Kylen is a wonderful example of a Bulldog with integrity.

-Tahaleigh: Tahaleigh possesses the traits that identify her as a student who can be trusted and counted upon. She is respectful and kind to her classmates and anyone that comes into Room 126. Tahleigh is always honest no matter the situation. Tahaleigh is a wonderful example of what’s expected from a Top Bulldog!

Room 128

-Bacari: This student is always in discussion for student of the month. He is a model student, who shines academically in all subjects. This student in particular was very independent during his work time. He is showing he is ready for 3rd Grade.

-Victoria: This student just joined room 128 a few months ago, however she fit right in. She rocks reading, math, and writing. She works super hard and has a passion for learning. 

Room 130

-Ky’rie: Ky’rie  is an incredibly kind and caring soul. He makes sure that he is always checking in on his friends and has been working on his focus and attention to make sure he is always doing what he needs to do. He has a great smile and always makes others laugh! Keep up the hard work!

-I’vonnie: I’vonnie has grown so much over the last few months! She is working on making sure that she is always trying her best and that has helped her grow in both math and reading. She is very kind and loves to laugh. You’re a rockstar, I’vonnie!

Room 132

-Armani: Armani has been doing a great job coming to school regularly and always participates in his small groups. He has learned all of his alphabet in sign-language. He also loves helping his friends in class. Great job, Armani!

-Isaiah: Isaiah has great attendance and is here EVERY DAY! He tries really hard in all academic areas at school. He has been practicing and studying at home too! He has made a lot of progress in math because of this. He is very caring and kind to others.

Room 134

-Braylon: Braylon has been working hard with being responsible for his classroom materials. He is doing a great job keeping his computer in good condition and has been cleaning up materials when he is finished with them.

Room 136

-Kynedi: Kynedi is making progress in math this grading period. She pays attention and participates more as well.

-Gavynn: Gavynn tries hard each day and follows directions very well.

Room 138

-GeeGee: GeeGee comes to school every day on time. He completes his homework and classwork which has helped him to score in the GREEN in both Math and Reading Star. GeeGee is very kind and respectful to adults – he sure follows the BULLDOG Behaviors!

-Nalanee: Nalanee comes to school every day on time and also completes her classwork and homework every day. This also helped Nalanee to improve on both her math and reading Star scores. She works hard in class and always wants to participate. She is always willing to help others in the classroom. She sure follows the BULLDOG behaviors!

Room 146

-Ricky: Ricky always tries his best in class. He comes each day with a positive attitude, and he is always ready to learn.

-Shontel: Shontel is always positive and helpful in class. She always tries her best and she completes all her school work and homework.

Room 148

-Prema: Prema has been doing a fantastic job and demonstrates excellent bulldog behavior every day. She works hard to do her best every single day.

-Calvin: Calvin has been making smart decisions and following bulldog expectations. He gets all his work done with his best effort to succeed.

Ms. Coleman’s Bus SOM

-Aubrii: Aubrii does an amazing job making sure the younger students follow all of the rules on the bus.
