What was your favorite grade as a kid and why? I loved 6th grade because my teacher, Mr. Dean treated us as young adults, not little kids. We called ourselves “Community 206”, not room/class #206.
What do you want most for the students at Franklin? I want our students at Franklin to feel cared for, heard, and accepted.
Who is someone you admire and why? I admire Michelle Obama for her caring, wisdom, and grace.
What are some of your interests outside of the school day? Being a mom of 2 boys, working out, reading, and being outside in nature as much as possible.
What are people sometimes surprised to learn about you? Before I became a speech teacher, I was acting Off-Broadway in NYC for 10 years
