It looks like we will finally have some decent Spring weather headed our way next week. Ugh…..Our Spring sports’ teams practiced in winter jackets during their first week of practice. Good luck to all of our young sport enthusiasts! A friendly reminder that we do not have school tomorrow, Friday, April 18th (April Break). Enjoy the long weekend!
Get your 2024-2025 Fairview Yearbook Today – This year’s yearbook ($14) will be one of the finest! It doubled in size from a year ago and will have student candids along with Fairview’s extra-curricular teams. Do not delay as yearbooks will not be sold at school. Spring Open House – We are excited to be partnering with our school PTO for our annual Spring Open House (Art and Literacy Theme) on Thursday, May 22, 2025. We will have food trucks, the Scholastic Book Fair and book giveaways. An art gallery walk in the new gym along with reading strategies and tips to avoid “summer slide” are sure to be a hit! Time of the day for this event will be forthcoming.

Fairview Students Shine at PLTW STEM Showcase – Fairview School was selected to showcase their exceptional work and accomplishments in STEM education at Direct Supply. This event highlighted students, teachers, administrators, and partners from colleges, universities, and businesses. Ms. Michaud’s 1st grade student representatives were superb and our 7th and 8th grade PLTW student representatives were highlighted in a photograph with our district’s new superintendent, Dr. Brenda Cassellius. Way to go, Fairview!
Keep your children busy by enrolling in the district’s Summer Academy – Summer Academy combines academics in an acceleration model for an engaging five-week experience for K5–grade 8 students. The Summer Academy curriculum will be a camp-based experience paired with hands-on activities, field trips, and special programs with community partners. Click here for enrollment.
Spring Music Concerts (Save the Dates) – Fairview’s music offerings are as expansive as ever. We will be showcasing harp, piano, strings, orchestra, guitar and Ms. Pentimalli’s K4-6th grade music classes. In order to fit our music participants into the music programs, we will be having two performance dates. All Fairview families are welcome to attend.
