Dear Fairview Families,
We are excited to share that our school addition and other improvement projects are nearing completion! As we start the 2024–25 school year, you and your students will see some upgrades that will improve our education environment. These projects are made possible by the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief funds known as ESSER III.
Our building addition is almost complete. Some remaining work needs to be done including the exterior finishes on the addition and the installation of the gym floor. This work will continue after school starts. For a few more weeks, our campus and neighborhood will be impacted by construction. We expect everything to be finished by the end of September.
The safety of students and staff is our top priority. Every precaution has been and is still being taken to ensure that our school community is not exposed to any hazards that would impact health and safety.
Please be aware of work that is still in progress, and please remind your children to stay away from any work being done. Please also be alert to construction vehicles coming and going. We appreciate that these may be fascinating to children. We ask that you use caution when your children and pets are near the construction areas.
We are excited about these upgrades and the beautiful new spaces we will be able to enjoy. We appreciate your patience as the work is completed. Any time you have questions or suggestions, please ask me.
