March Newsletter

March 14, 2024 by fregiehl

Hello Fairview Families,

Our Spring conferences are just around the corner!  We are looking forward to meeting with our families to share our students’ progress.  Thank you for prioritizing these important conversations through our Spring conferences.

Spring conferences are scheduled for the afternoon and evenings of Thursday, March 14 and Wednesday, March 20.  To schedule a conference, click here.

Please reach out to your child(ren)’s teacher(s) or me if you have any questions.

ST Math – We had a contest within each of the classrooms who could solve the most puzzles.  Congratulations to the following list of students who were the top ST Math solvers!  Click here for a list of winners.  A pizza party is planned for the afternoon of Friday, March 15th.

Fairview School 2023-2024 Yearbooks – Fairview has elected to provide families with an online purchase.  Yearbooks can be purchased here through April 1, 2024.

Kindergarten Enrollment – Do you know of any K4 or K5 students looking to join the Fairview community?  Please pass along to any families who may have an interest in joining the Fairview community. Kindergarten Enrollment

Report Cards – Student report cards were sent home with your child on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.  Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

Lost and Found – Missing a hat, glove or jacket?  Chances are pretty good based on the amount of lost items we have in the Fairview lost and found.  Items unclaimed by the start of spring break will be donated to our local Goodwill.

STAR Reports – We measure student progress by using the district’s STAR universal screener.  Students in 1st through 8th grade take assessments to show academic growth in the area of Reading and Math (2nd – 8th) and Early Literacy (1st).  Inside your child’s report card envelope was a copy of the Renaissance Parent Report.  If you have any questions about the report, please contact your child’s teacher.
