Purpose of School Engagement Councils
A place at every school that brings together families, staff, students (when appropriate), and community to work to support and inform shared leadership, equity, and cultural relevance resulting in increased student achievement.
Our SEC meets from September to November and January to April. Meetings are one hour, and you can choose to attend either at 9:30 a.m. or 5:00 p.m. Meetings during the 2025-2026 school year will be a hybrid of virtual and in-person. The purpose of the SEC is to provide an opportunity for parents, staff, community members, students and administration to work together to improve the well-being of our Carver Scholars, their education and the culture of the building.
Parent’s opinion matter, therefore, we encourage all parents to attend each meeting to be a part of the discussion.
