Families

At Carver Academy, parents and families are respected as valuable members of our scholars educational support network. Combined with the efforts of the school staff, parental support guides students toward academic success and builds self-confidence.

By attending informational meetings, school-sponsored programs and Parent Nights, parents and guardians can learn new strategies on reinforcing the education of their scholar at home. Parent representatives serve as members of the School Council, ensuring their opinions are heard and assisting with planning, reviewing and improving Carver’s educational program. In addition, the Title I program provides training sessions on academic standards and assessment throughout the school year, which parents are encouraged to attend. Open Houses and Parent-Teacher Conferences allow parents to meet their child’s teachers and learn more about the teaching and learning that takes place in Carver’s classrooms. Join the Carver Academy Community ClassDojo to stay up to date on what is happening. Carver Academy also has a YouTube site for morning announcements and a look at what your scholars week will entail. Please check in out and please Subscribe!!!!
