FREE Theater Workshops with Milwaukee Rep

ELO Adventures are free classes offered through Milwaukee Rep and MPS’s Office of Extended Learning Opportunities to students ages 7-13. Our first program of the year – Adventures in Acting: Fantastical Fairytales – teaches students the basics of acting, public speaking, collaboration, and cooperation while also supporting literacy and social-emotional learning. The Adventures in Acting camp gives students the opportunity to explore the basics of acting through games, script work, improvisation, and teamwork!

Classes begin on February 14th and run for four Saturdays, with our last class being on March 7th. The final class will even include a short presentation open to family and friends! Classes run from 9:30am to 12pm, consisting of two segments that each run an hour with a snack break in between. This ELO Adventure will be held at Milwaukee Rep’s NEW Herzfeld Foundation Education & Engagement Center (108 East Wells Street Milwaukee, WI 53202).
