The Albert Story School Safe Place provides before- and after-school childcare and enrichment activities to K4 through eighth-grade students at Story.
Open from 6:30 to 7:10 a.m. and 2:10 to 6:00 p.m. on school days, the program provides structure and supervision by following a 1:15 staff: child ratio. The Safe Place supports Story student achievement and learning goals by offering enrichment activities that prepare youth for high school, college, and career success:

- Summer camp

Costs
Milwaukee Public Schools Safe Places charge a nominal program fee, and most Safe Place programs accept Wisconsin Shares childcare subsidies. The inability to pay fees or to receive Wisconsin Shares authorization cannot be a barrier to participation for students.

Registration and Information
Parents/guardians can complete Safe Place Youth Participant Registration and Emergency & Health History forms in advance, or get copies on-site. Completed forms must be submitted to the Albert Story School Safe Place. Additional forms may be required as part of the registration process.
