Because you have classes in many rooms, some of your books and personal belongings are kept in a locker. The locker is for the protection of your possessions. You should remember the following:
- Your locker combination MUST NOT be given out to any other students. Lockers MUST NOT be shared.
- Your locker combination and contents are your responsibility. The school system is not responsible for items damaged, lost or stolen.
- Before leaving your locker, check to see that it is tightly closed and locked. Turn the dial to make sure it will not open.
- The only time you go to your locker is in the morning when you arrive, during a predetermined time by your teachers, and after school.
- Keep book bags, gym bags and all outside clothing in your assigned locker.
Since lockers are a permanent part of the building, students are expected to keep them neat and in good, usable condition. Lockers are the property of the Milwaukee Public Schools and may be searched.

Lockers will also be provided for gym supplies and are under the direction of your gym teacher.
