Physical Education Department

Physical education is an integral part of total education, which contributes to the development of the individual through the medium of physical activity.  The comprehensive physical education program has a common core of learning experiences that enhances and maintains cardio muscular fitness, flexibility, coordination, and strength.  Activities are planned to provide each student with opportunities to make desirable mental, motor, emotional, and social responses in order to develop an increasingly self-confident and self-reliant individual who leads a healthier and more satisfying life.

Note: Students must be enrolled in physical education during their ninth, tenth and eleventh grades.  Their senior year is elective.
