The council&#8217;s decision-making authority is advisory with respect to all duties, powers and responsibilities, with the sole exception of the council&#8217;s authority and responsibility to submit a signature page with its school&#8217;s annual budget and the school&#8217;s annual School Improvement Plan. Council participation is on a voluntary basis via a school-based election process. The council is not intended to replace a parent organization.<\/p>\n<p>Keefe Avenue School is currently seeking parents to become members of the School Engagement Council.
