Hello!\u00a0 Welcome to the 2025-26 school year!\u00a0 My name is Jennifer Carter and I am the very proud principal of Individualized, Developmental, Educational Approaches to Learning School or as we like to say:\u00a0 I.D.E.A.L.!\u00a0 On behalf of the entire staff, I want to warmly welcome you to our school!\u00a0 We are happy to have you as part of our learning community and we look forward to working with you as a team throughout the school year.<\/p>\n
I.D.E.A.L. School has a unique multi-age learning environment.\u00a0 <\/span>We have three multi-age units that are taught by teams of teachers who work collaboratively to create a rigorous, hands-on learning approach for all students.\u00a0 <\/span>Our Primary Unit is grades K4 through 2nd<\/sup>, our Elementary Unit is grades 3 through 5 and our Middle School Unit is grades 6 through 8.<\/p>\n We are a proud STEAM School that follows four yearly school-wide Science themes.\u00a0 <\/span>We look forward to sharing more information throughout the school year and demonstrating our unique project-based learning opportunities.<\/p>\n I.D.E.A.L. School is very fortunate to have full-time Physical Education and Music Specialists as well as a part-time Art Specialist.\u00a0 <\/span>Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in band, and we are fortunate to have piano lessons available for students in grade 2 through 8.\u00a0 <\/span>We strive to provide after-school sports\/recreation activities as well as a multitude of daily opportunities for all students.<\/p>\n Good attendance is a must!!!!!\u00a0 <\/span>Families need to strive for 95% daily attendance.\u00a0 <\/span><\/i><\/b>Strong, consistent daily attendance promotes good academic progress.\u00a0 <\/span>We encourage you to minimize tardies and early pick-ups too.\u00a0 <\/span>Our school day is 9:10 to 4:10 and we are in learning activities that whole time.\u00a0 <\/span>Every minute counts! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Thank you for choosing I.D.E.A.L.
