When staff and families work together, we create a strong foundation of support that helps every child thrive. By teaching citizenship, respect, discipline, and personal responsibility, Goodrich partners with parents to raise confident, successful children.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Family involvement is key to academic success and emotional growth. You can support your child and the Goodrich community by:<\/li>\n<li>Making sure your child arrives on time each day (7:15 a.m.)<\/li>\n<li>Calling the school office at (262) 236-1500 if your child will be absent<\/li>\n<li>Helping your child get enough sleep each night<\/li>\n<li>Providing a healthy lunch<\/li>\n<li>Checking your child\u2019s backpack daily<\/li>\n<li>Reading with your child every day<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with homework<\/li>\n<li>Dressing your child for the weather<\/li>\n<li>Volunteering in classrooms<\/li>\n<li>Joining field trips<\/li>\n<li>Being an active member of the PTO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Community Resources<\/h2>\n<p>Here is a <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/milwaukee.k12.wi.us\/goodrich-school-resources\/community-resources\">website<\/a> created by our\u00a0School Social Worker and School Psychologist that has resources\u00a0related to childcare, COVID-19, food, housing, internet, MPS parent guide, and IMPACT 2-1-1.<\/p>\n<h2>Attendance<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Attendance Matters at Goodrich Elementary!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Goodrich, we work hard to reach our goal of 95% daily attendance or better. This support is greatly appreciated by the Goodrich staff and helps ensure that trips run smoothly.
