Session runs June 24 to July 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Middle and high school students can catch up on credits or get ahead. Two sessions are available: June 13-July 2 and June 24-July 25. Courses vary by site and session.<\/p>\n<p>Learn more at <a href=\"https:\/\/mpsmke.com\/summeracademy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mpsmke.com\/summeracademy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>-Students can only register for 1 session of summer school (dates overlap between the sessions).<\/p>\n<p><strong>-Registration deadlines are May 15<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0for Session 1, and May 31<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0for Session 2.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>High School Student Reminders:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>-Session 1 is June 13-July 2, and students may only take 1 course during this session. It is best suited for students who only have 1 course to recover. When students finish their course, they are done attending.<\/p>\n<p>-Session 2 is June 24-July 25, and students may register for up to 3 courses. If they are doing credit acceleration, that course takes up 2 blocks out of 3 in their schedule.<\/p>\n<p>-In Session 1 and Session 2, students attend from 8:00 am &#8211; 1:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>-There is also a Specialty Session with a variety of course offerings &#8211; class times vary by course.<\/p>\n<p>-There are a few options to accelerate in gym.<\/p>\n<p>-Current 9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0grade students must attend in person, current 11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0grade students have the optional of taking classes virtually.
