Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to inform you that our school has recently been notified of an increase in students experiencing illness, including confirmed cases of RSV, pneumonia, strep throat, influenza, and norovirus.
To ensure the safety and health of our school community, we are asking for your cooperation in preventing the further spread of these infections. Please keep your student home if they are exhibiting any symptoms, including fever, coughing, diarrhea, vomiting, or significant fatigue.
Guidelines for Returning to School:
- Fever: Students must be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication (e.g., Tylenol, Advil) before returning to school.
- Vomiting/Diarrhea: Students should stay home for at least 24 hours after the last episode of vomiting or diarrhea.

Respiratory Illness: Students with symptoms of RSV or pneumonia (cough, congestion, fever) should remain home until symptoms have significantly improved and they are fever-free for 24 hours.

Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom and before eating.

Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or inside the elbow.

Monitor your student for symptoms daily.
If your child is diagnosed with one of these illnesses, please notify the school office. Thank you for your support in keeping our staff and students safe and healthy.
