Parents are encouraged to visit their child\u2019s classroom and volunteer to assist teachers with school activities. We believe that a strong school community\u2014built on communication, involvement, and inclusivity\u2014creates the foundation for student success.<\/p>\n<p>Our mission is to support our school through programs and events that celebrate our diverse community, strengthen connections between home and school, and provide resources that enhance learning both inside and outside the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Through volunteerism, fundraising, and advocacy, we aim to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Foster an engaging, welcoming environment for all families.<\/li>\n<li>Support teachers and staff through classroom initiatives and appreciation efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Provide meaningful enrichment activities that promote creativity, culture, and academic growth.<\/li>\n<li>Encourage student leadership, kindness, and community spirit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Together, we\u2019re building a stronger Cooper\u2014one event, one volunteer, and one student at a time.<\/p>\n<h2>School Governance Council<\/h2>\n<p>The School Governance Council works with the principal as an advisory body to discuss and improve school policies, curriculum, educational plan goals and the budget. Members of the council include parents, staff members and community representatives. Council participation is voluntary through a school-based election process, which occurs during the month of May. For more information, or to get involved in the School Governance Council, please contact Cooper\u2019s school office at (414) 304-6300.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/k12.mps.school\/cooper\/school-improvement-plan-and-state-report-card\/\">Cooper&#8217;s School Improvement Plan<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Tuesday Folders\/School-Home Communication<\/h2>\n<p>Tuesday Folders, sent home weekly, are used for school-related communication. Parents are reminded to check these folders for important information regarding upcoming events and school policies.
