The Eighty-First Street school-wide expectations are that all students will:<\/p>\n<h2>Be Respectful<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Raise your hand<\/li>\n<li>Listen while others are speaking<\/li>\n<li>Listen to staff and peers<\/li>\n<li>Accept others\u2019 differences<\/li>\n<li>Respect the property of others and the school<\/li>\n<li>Use polite voices and positive language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Be Responsible<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend school daily and be on time<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for homework<\/li>\n<li>Follow class routines and expectations<\/li>\n<li>Stay in line<\/li>\n<li>Put electronics away<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Be Safe<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Walk in the halls and stay to the right<\/li>\n<li>Keep hands and feet to yourself<\/li>\n<li>Remain in your seat<\/li>\n<li>Stay with your class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Be Career Bound<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Honor time and location of pass<\/li>\n<li>Notify staff of an issue immediately<\/li>\n<li>Participate in discussion<\/li>\n<li>Be prepared and ready to learn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a PBIS school, all students are taught expected behaviors and incentives are provided for students who adhere to the school expectations. For students who struggle following expectations, targeted interventions are provided to help the student become successful in the school environment.
