Project Wisdom is one of the oldest and most respected character education programs in the nation with more than 19,000 licensed schools.<\/p>\n<h2>Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)<\/h2>\n<p>PBIS\u00a0is a joint effort between Milwaukee Public Schools\u00a0Office of Family Services and the Milwaukee Teachers\u2019 Education Association to effectively reduce classroom disruptions and student suspensions through a school-wide systematic tiered-intervention approach. Data shows that schools that implement PBIS with fidelity see decreases in disruptions and suspensions and increases in student achievement.<\/p>\n<h2>Achievement Gap Reduction (AGR) Program<\/h2>\n<p>The AGR Program requires a participating school to create performance objectives, including reducing the achievement gap between low\u2212income students in that school and students in the same grade and subject statewide.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project Wisdom 81st Street School is proud to be a Project Wisdom School!
